AJI Terms of Service

Effective Date: 6th January, 2025

Welcome to AJI! Our mission is to empower lives through learning by providing a platform where anyone can create, share, and access educational content. Whether you’re an instructor sharing your expertise or a student gaining new knowledge, we are committed to fostering a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

These Terms of Service govern your use of AJI, including our website (aji.ng), mobile applications, APIs, and any related services (“Services”). By using our platform, you agree to these terms.

1. Account & Responsibilities

To access most of our services, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information, including a valid email address.

  • Maintain the security of your account and password.

  • Be responsible for all activity under your account.

  • Not share, transfer, or use another person’s account.

If an account is found to be misused or compromised, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate it.

2. Content & Course Publishing on AJI

  • If you publish courses on AJI, you must comply with our Instructor Terms and Community Guidelines to ensure a high-quality learning experience.

    Ownership & Licensing

As an instructor, you retain full ownership of the content you create. However, by publishing on AJI, you grant us a license to host, market, and distribute your courses.

    Revenue Sharing Models

AJI offers two commission structures based on how your content is produced:

    1. Instructor-Produced Content:

      • If you create and upload your own course content, you receive 70% of the revenue, while AJI retains 30% from each sale.

    2. AJI or Partner-Produced Content:

      • If your course is produced using AJI’s exclusive content production, you receive 50% of the revenue, while AJI retains 50%.

      • Instructors do not have ownership rights to courses created using AJI’s catalog.

      • To claim ownership of a course from AJI’s catalog, an instructor or organization may negotiate a transfer of ownership with AJI.

    Content Compliance

All courses must comply with intellectual property laws and AJI’s Community Guidelines. Courses that violate these policies will be removed.

By publishing on AJI, you agree to these terms and commit to delivering valuable, high-quality education to learners worldwide. 🚀

    3. Privacy & Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, and use your data. By using AJI, you agree to the processing of your personal data as described in our policy.

4. Payments & Refunds

  • Students may purchase courses through AJI’s secure payment system.

  • Refunds are available under our Refund Policy, which specifies eligibility and conditions.

  • Instructors receive payments according to our Instructor Revenue Share Terms.

5. Platform Rules & Restrictions

To keep AJI safe and effective, users must not:

  • Engage in illegal, abusive, or fraudulent activities.

  • Upload harmful, misleading, or offensive content.

  • Disrupt or attempt to interfere with the platform’s operation.

Violation of these rules may result in content removal, account suspension, or legal action.
